You can choose from a vast array of activities, programs and classes – or just sit back and relax. Films like these should be appreciated its a low budget film and quite underrated. Oh....and it ended up being the sheriff.

The intruder becomes a methodical and deliberate killer. He goes about his horrid business like a mundane chore. David Morley writes and directs this horror flick.

There isn't fifty pointless story lines going on. It helps focus on the dynamics of the characters and what's going on around them. This is something i like to refer to as a "slice of life" kind of movie. Which is suitable for some horror movies. There isn't always a need for some horror movies to touch on too much of a background.

I thought this would be fun to watch, but within only two scary moments, and partly good camera work, it becomes repeating cliché, boring and uninvented. I liked the music, kind a old blues tunes, though. From the start with added atmosphere and camera work it looks interesting, but then it lacks in its representation. The cameraman did a half good job moving camera, and even it reminds me on camera work at the start of R. Scott's Alien, it was obvious that cameraman in Alien where perfect performer with all that added scary atmosphere. Here, it does not look right and it somehow lacks the tension.

Now I want those 80 minutes of my life back..those 80 minutes that I spent on watching the disaster of a movie, which is Home sweet home. The beginning shows a mysterious man ,who is the invader and whose face is revealed only in the end,that too for a split second. The beginning itself drags for so long..if I'd known this earlier,I'd taken a quick nap through it.

We hear a voice message from the sheriff following up on a strange trespasser at the beginning of the film. Instead of telling us, the writer would have done better to show us. Give us a day or two with the couple before bringing them home from a date and killing them for 40 minutes. Let us see them having an argument, having sex, laughing, or sleeping or doing something that normal people do. There was so much potential for this film to go somewhere with the conflict between the husband and mother-in-law or the husband and wife, but it fell flat. A married couple have been picked up and dropped into a house in the countryside.

Things get pretty damn tense when the intruder, wearing a dull, but scary mask and protective clothing, commences to torture and maim. Some of the violence is disturbingly graphic. Assuming Sara is the lead character...she is clueless and has no common sense. Let's say "shock and awe" does that to a person.

It was too long and loosing it tense with so much mixed details. It was OK, but not refined as it is in the best of genre. After a while, the owners came and in some slow pace of not so great acting they become a victims by some psycho maniac. The complete atmosphere was with no any special tension, like we all know what will happen. And it happens, but in a very mediocre nothing to scare of work. Only two moments made me scared but it is such a small part in overall concept that I forget about it.

So I kept watching and to my surprise, an ending that knocked me right off my feet. I shook my head, shrugged my shoulders and realized I could only say one thing. You can't judge a film by its trailer. Home Sweet Home is surprisingly a good little indie thriller/horror that definitely deserves a little attention.

Many of the questions that you think are going to be left dangling are answered in a clever ending, so that means that from its creepy unconventional beginning to its shocking ending "Home Sweet Home" is a success. The writer/directer is horrible, either the girl is the stupidest person alive or she wants to die because her logic when handling the gun that was stored in the house makes no sense at all..... She has a chance to kill him and decides that its smarter to rush him with the gun trigger still locked... Even though she could have easily unlocked it downstairs where she was safe...

It gives a more of a sporadic feel when the horror begins from the get go. As Sue ventures into this new world of sex, drugs and rock and roll, she is met with fellow vagabonds equipped with a gritty yet perceptive sense of humor to help her fall into street subculture. "High Achievers" is a comically brilliant assertion of the undeniable relationship between drugs and invention/creativity. The film does a great job by building character by simply showing us the victim's home.

The ending is kind a OK, but it is nothing so original or special about it, yet better than to have a clear happy end. I was OK with this movie, but not impressed at all. I am a big fan of home invasion movies.
